Dr. Kerry McLaughlin is originally from Middletown, NJ, and always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian from a young age. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Lehigh University. During her undergraduate years, she also completed an externship at the Lehigh Valley Zoo and spent a semester abroad in Australia. Dr. McLaughlin went on to receive her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation, she was awarded an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. During her internship, Dr. McLaughlin developed special interests in soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and cardiology. When not practicing veterinary medicine, she enjoys running, spending time at the beach, exploring new restaurants, and hiking with her rescue dog, a boxer mix named Byron!
