Dr. Christina Colon grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She attended the University at Albany in Albany, NY where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Sociology. She moved back to New York City and started working at a large educational company and later as a veterinary assistant at a busy Manhattan clinic before pursuing her life-long dream of becoming a veterinarian. She was admitted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Colon’s clinical interests include preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and emergency medicine. In her free time, she enjoys catching up with friends, traveling and practicing yoga. She also loves spending time with her island rescue dog Coconut and two rescue cats, Frisco and Leo.
